On Thursday, the day after the crash, Jenner was spotted for the first time in public during a quiet coffee run in Malibu. When approached by reporters from The Daily Mail, the 77-year-old said, “Tough times. I don’t want to talk.”
Jenner looked somber but composed, wearing a long-sleeved blue T-shirt, gray pants, and a visor. She briefly waved to photographers before returning to her $3.5 million Malibu mansion.
Caitlyn Jenner Seen Comforting a Grieving Mother
Paparazzi photographed Caitlyn again on Saturday morning, two days after the crash. As per photos published by The Daily Mail, Caitlyn was seen walking beside Sophia’s mother in Malibu.
In the published photos, the two women appeared quiet and reflective as they stepped out together just days after the accident. Sophia’s mother wore a green T-shirt and white shorts as she stayed close to Caitlyn during the outing.
The moment highlighted the depth of Sophia’s connection not just to Caitlyn but to the entire Jenner family.

Sophia Hutchins Was More Than a Manager For Caitlyn

Sophia, who was also transgender, often spoke about how Caitlyn inspired her to come out while in college at Pepperdine University.
“Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,” Sophia told The New York Times. “We were never romantically involved.”
Sophia reflected their deep bond in both work and life, appearing in episodes of “I Am Cait,” the documentary spin-off of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Sophia had close ties to the extended Kardashian-Jenner family, including regular conversations with Kris Jenner. She also shared a sweet relationship with Jenner’s daughters, Kendall and Kylie, once receiving a heart-shaped diamond necklace from them for Christmas.
“I’m on good terms with all the family, but I’m closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie, and Kendall,” Sophia said in a past interview.
In 2020, she modeled in a campaign for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand, continuing her presence within the family’s world, both personally and professionally.
The Kardashian-Jenner family hasn’t publicly made any statement about Sophia’s passing yet.
