If you’re stuck and don’t know where to go, here’s a complete step-by-step guide on completing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies Ashes of Damaned Easter Egg.

How to Complete Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies Ashes of the Damned Easter Egg?

Before beginning the quest, it’s a good idea to save yourself with a solid loadout. We recommend running the Akita shotgun to blow away your enemies to oblivion. For Field Upgrades, both Aether Shroud and Frenzied Guard are solid options.

It’s not necessary to have GobbleGums, but things like Perkaholic, Raindrops, Near-Death Experience, or Aftertaste can make your run smoother. With your setup ready, here’s how you can tackle Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Ashes of the Damaned Easter Egg quest –

Step 1

The first thing you need to do is open the map and get Pack-a-Punch activated. This will include retrieving Ted’s head, installing it on Ol’ Tessie, and then proceeding to either Blackwater or Vandom Farm to clear the infestation from the power pump and activate the pack.

Step 2

As you open up different areas of the map, you’ll come across several Easter Eggs that can be collected early on. The first one is located on the Vandom Farm.

Make sure you have a Tomahawk equipped before heading there. Look for the body hanging from the ceiling with its foot dripping blood. Throw the Tomhawk to sever the foot, which will cause it to drop on the floor. Then, throw a Molotov on it, which will get you the time ‘Human Bones’.

Step 3

We’ll be picking more of Human Bones later, but first, make sure you have Blackwater Lake powered up by clearing the infestation and turning on the power there as well.

Make your way into Ashwood, and take the zipline either to the left or the right side, and open up till you make your way to the Ashwood bridge, and destroy the Spore infestation. Turn on the power there and install the Pack-A-Punch on the back of Ol’Tessie. Now, make your way to Exit 115.

Step 4

There are two easter eggs to do here. The first one is that once you are on a Ravager round, you want to activate the Saw Trap on the map and let that Ravager be eliminated by the trap.

If you do this correctly, the Ravager will drop a part called ‘Ravager Eyes’. You’ll also come across a zombie called the ‘Cook’ that will drop a key to open the Freezer, which allows you to pick the Abomination Carcass. Once you have it, take Ol’Tessie back to Ashwood and put the Carcass on the front.

Step 5

Take your Ol’ Tessie and drive into the fog to hunt for the purple glowing rocks. There should be three around the map, and you’ll want to use the R1 Beam attack from the Tessie to destroy them.

If done correctly, you’ll be able to pick an item called ‘Horde Husk Chunks’. Also, make sure that upon round eight, you are in the Janice Towers Plaza spawn, where, upon the round turning, an Uber Klaus is going to spawn out of the container that you want to take out.

Step 6

Now, it’s time to activate Klaus. Take the left zip in Ashwood up towards Market Square, and follow the left side, where you’ll have the Ashwood Sheriff’s Office. There will be a jail cell inside with Klaus, and a panel where you can put in the Stabilization Chip.

You now must wake up Klaus, and for that, you will need three stun grenades from a workbench. Go back to the jail cell, stand on the left side of it, and bounce all the stun grenades quickly. Whoever does gets to control Klaus, and he can be directed with the Tactical Grenade button.

Step 7

Now, go to the Zarya Cosmodrome POI and, underneath the main floor, to the level called the ‘Support Systems’. Use your Tactical Grenade button to direct him in front of the keypad.

If done correctly, he will stamp the ground, and you’ll be able to interact with the machine, which will have a scan progress. The player who has activated the machine needs to stand in the red circle. During this, zombies will spawn, so take them out. Once that’s done, pick up the Aether Barrel.

Step 8

Now, take the Aether Barrel back to Ashwood and the power generators where you did the spore infestation originally. There will be a slot right in the middle of the Power Plant where you can place the Aether Barrel, and then wait for the refined energy extraction to complete.

Pick up the Aether Barrel once again, and drive to the Blackwater Lake, where you need to repeat the same process at the Power Plant. Finally, head to the farm and fill in the Aether Barrel once again.

Step 9

Once you’ve gone to all three Power Plants, head to the bottom floor of the Vandorn Farm. In the cellar, you come across a box in which the Aether Barrel will be placed.

You’ll see three green circles on the box, and each of them has four to five symbols to choose from. Now, use the jump pad over to Janice Tower Plaza, and look for the symbols on the top of the buildings. There will be three of them, and you need to match them with one of the boxes.

Step 10

If you have the correct symbols, interact with the front of the box. If everything is done in the right way, you’ll now be able to pick up the Necro Fluid Gauntlet wonder weapon.

Picking it up will place you in a small lockdown as the game tries to teach you how to use it. What you want to do is shoot it at all the green orbs you can see in front of you, left and right.

Step 11

With the Gauntlet Wonder Weapon with you, make your way back to Ashwood, and you’ll need to have purchased the Wisp Tea Perk, either from the Zarya Cosmodrome or from a Gobble Gum.

Head inside the Tailor shop, and you’ll see a mirror where you need to shoot a zombie to activate your Wisp Tea. If done correctly, the Wisp Tea will reveal an image on the mirror, and then if you shoot the wonder weapon at the mirror, it will drop ‘Power of the Forgotten’.

Step 12

Press back, and you’ll be able to see under the Serum that you almost have all the items that are needed. Another one of these items is a serum bottle, which can be found in the kitchen at Blackwater Lake. If you pick it up, you’ll have picked up a Jar of spores.

Now, go to Vandorm Farm, and outside, you’ll find a dead horse with loads of mushroom spores on it. If you interact, you can place down the Jar of Spores, and you’ll need to progress two full rounds from the moment you put this down for it to grow fully.

Step 13

In the meantime, you need to complete the other Easter Eggs steps. Go to Zarya Cosmodrome and open Yuri’s Lab. There’s a chemistry table there, and you need to interact with the powder that you just picked up. It will reveal a cipher on the chalkboard. T

ake a look at the first three letters you have on the blackboard, and match them with the items you have collected. You’ll be missing two items, and one of those, Widow’s Lantern, can be collected from the dead horse.

Step 14

For the final Serum quest item, you need to get to round 16 in order for a Zursa Bear to spawn. Use your Ol’Tessie’s beam attack to take it down, and it should drop an item called ‘Mysterious Limb’. Now that you have all the serum items, make your way back to Yuri’s lab and activate your items.

If done correctly, you should get a prompt where you can add blood to the chemistry flask. Whoever in your party ends up doing that will have their HP reduced to 75, and it will not regenerate during this step.

Step 15

You’ll now have to deal with a lockdown within the lab, which lasts for about a minute and a half. If you complete it successfully, there will be a purple gas that covers your screen for a brief period.

In four main POIs, there will now be Wips that will orbit around, which are separate mini Easter Egg quests you can complete in any order. But before that, you need to retrieve 3 keys from different sections of the fog –

1) Bruin Key – This can be located in the fog between the Ashwood and Zarya Cosmodrone. It will be a small, yellow, glowing orb that you might not see. One of the spawn locations for the key will be on the knocked-down radio tower where you want to shoot your gauntlet wonder weapon.

Another location can be right on the edge of the building as you exit the Cosmodrone into the Crashed Rocket area. Once you have grabbed it, you’ll have to run to the Ashwoods’ Rabbit Alley and use the key to break one of the chains on the black cube.

2) Nightbird Key – This can be found between Ashwood and Exit 115 in Order Graveyard. One of the locations is the bottom right of the T. Rex skull on the mountain. If it’s not there, another location can be further back in the graveyard, in the second T.Rex skull on the ground. Make your way to Ashwood’s Rabbit Alley and use it on the black cube.

3) Terrapin Key – This one can be found between Ashwood and Vandon Farm. You need to look in the location below the grounded ship, between the barrels. It can also be found on the top of the ship next to the window. Grab it, and take it back to the pyramid.

Step 16

Now, you’ll have the mid-game cinematic cutscene play, and once that ends, you can pick up the DG-2 Turret Barrel. You need to install this on the Ol’ Tessie. Once that’s done, drive the vehicle towards the entrance leading to the grounded ship. Shoot the clock tower that’s floating above the Ashwood Bridge.

Every single round you do this, you’ll stop the time on the clock, and you’ll be able to shoot each side of the four sides of the clock with your Woder Weapon, where if you shoot and press the reload/recall button, it will turn the gauntlet purple, and give it power amps.

Step 17

Now, make your way to the Diner that’s on Exit 115. During the round, the lighting starts showing up in different colors. First, what you need to do is shoot the purple Gauntlet at the clock right on the roofstop. This will lead to the lightning effect halting. Once that’s done, you need to complete different tasks related to each lightning colour –

  • Yellow Lighting – You need to get Klaus out and lead him to the yellow lightning.
  • Red Lightning – Use your Ol’ Tessie, and smash it against the truck to get the trucker out. Make sure he’s right in the middle of the red lightning.
  • Blue Lightning – Get the women from the diner to stand in the middle of the blue lightning.

Step 18

Make your way back to Ashwood, and continue shooting the clock to take in all the energy for your Gauntlet Wonder Weapon. Make your way to Cosmodrome, and use the Wonder Weapon to take out the satellites and slow down their movement.

Once that’s done, you’ll see monitors inside the control room, and each of them will rotate through pairs of letters and form a code word. Convert the letters like B=1, C-2, and so on. If you’ve guessed it right, hit the blast button.

Step 19

It’s time for Vandorm Farm again. Head to the farmhouse, and take note of the time you see on the clock over there. Whatever time you see, you want to look at the floorboards, and stand on the roman numerals that match that time. Look at the table, and shoot the skull when the eyes turn red. Now, you’ll need to collect four things: –

  • Teddy Bear – Can be found on the bunkbed upstairs.
  • Chalice – Can be found next to the underground bathtub.
  • Face Mask – Can be found on the second floor of the barn.
  • Pa-s Pigsticker – Can be found under the table in the garage

There will now be four ritual circles on the ground in the Vandorm farm, and you need to interact with them all. This will start a lockdown, which you must defend.

Step 20

Go to Ashwood and shoot the clock to recharge your Wonder Weapon once again. Now, head to Blackwater, and there’s a blue light within the docks. Go inside the building, and shoot at the projector. It will now display four different sections of the area that you need to memorize in order.

Go and shoot films in each of these areas in exactly the given order. If you do everything right, Klaus will show up on the upper floor. Make sure to interact with the box, and Klaus will return to the dock. Once you meet him there, the boss fight begins.

Step 21

And for the final step, it’s time to take down the boss. Take your Ol’ Tessie and drive around the route to collect wisps that are found around each zone. After you’ve cleared out the four POIs, you will teleport to the boss fight. The goal here is to drive around until you get the boost, and use that to ram into the boss.

Repeat this, and eventually, weak points will be revealed across the boss’s mouth, which you should shoot with the turret. At one stage, the boss will become completely immune, and when that happens, you need to drive the vehicle into the blue beam and then ram the boss to make it vulnerable again. Keep doing this until the immune phase is over, and eventually you’ll be able to take the boss down.
