Choo Young Woo and Shin Shi Ah are officially confirmed to lead the Korean version of Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight.
On July 2, production company BY4M Studio confirmed that the Korean remake of the Japanese film Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight will be led by Choo Young Woo and Shin Shi Ah. They also revealed that the filming of the K-drama will begin in July 5.
Even if This Love Disappears from the World, Tonight will depict the story from the 2022 Japanese film of the same name and the original novel Konya, Sekai Kara Kono Koi ga Kietemo by Ichijo Misaki. It will tell the romance story of a high school girl suffering from anterograde amnesia (her memory resets every time she sleeps) and an ordinary high school boy who lives a dull life.
Director Kim Hye Young who is known for creating the works It’s Okay!, Be Melodramatic, and Unicorn, will take charge of the upcoming K-drama.
According to reports, Even if This Love Disappears from the World, Tonight will premiere within the year.
Choo Young Woo will give life to the role of Kim Jae Won. He is an ordinary high school boy who is suffering from a hereditary heart condition. Because of this, he lives a plain life and isn’t very interested in things until he meets Han Seo Yoon.
The actor shared his thoughts on leading the K-drama, “I am a fan of both the original novel and the movie, so I really wanted to be part of this project. I’ve been excited to work on it ever since I got the offer, and I will do my best for this.”
Shin Shi Ah on the other will play the role of Han Seo Yoon, a positive high school girl experiencing anterograde amnesia. As her memory returns, Kim Jae Won is expected to be a part of her journey.
The actress shared her excitement in joining the new K-drama, “I am happy and excited to be part of this project that I really like. I’ve been a fan of the original novel, and I will do my best while filming so that the story will be conveyed sincerely to the viewers.”
