Collateral Damage: Nagarjuna’s Son Drops Out Of RGV’s Film

The aftermath of the disaster that is Ran Gopal Varma’s Officer can be felt right down to the film’s leading man Nagarjuna’s son Akhil Akkineni who was expected to team up with Ramu for a film soon.

No more. After protests from fans Nag’s son has quietly opted out of the Varma project.

Speaking to this writer Akhil said, “ I’m off to London to shoot my next film with Venky Atluri where Nidhi Aggarwal is my co-star. That’s the only thing on my mind right now. I’m not sure who is confirming any such news(of Akhil doing Varma’s film) or why.As for the fans, they always have an opinion of their own. We only try to live up to their expectations but giving them good films at the end of the day.”

Apparently after the disastrous boxoffice performance of Officer Nagarjuna has stopped taking Ram Gopal Varma’s calls .
