Alongside the legendary Fire Spirit Cookie, Agar Agar Cookie was released in Cookie Run Kingdom‘s “The Fire Awakens” update. Though she is only of the epic rarity, she has been shown to be incredibly powerful lore-wise, being able to consume and use the magical abilities of the guardian cookies. Players can learn more about her in Fire Spirit Cookie’s story, and will be able to obtain her from the featured cookie gacha until May 6th, 2025.

Agar Agar Cookie delivers a wide range of attacks from the middle position of the team. Since her abilities are so varied, players may find it difficult to settle on an exact build for her—but there are some stats which she evidently needs built upon in order to succeed. Which toppings and beascuits should be applied to her so she can be the most effective in battle?

Flaming Raspberries Or Flaming Chocolates

Agar Agar Cookie functions similarly to Prophet Cookie, and can mimic the attacks of five of the legendary characters on a lesser scale, these being Fire Spirit Cookie, Stormbringer Cookie, Sea Fairy Cookie, Wind Archer Cookie, and Frost Queen Cookie. If she is in a team with one or more of these cookies, then she will only mimic their skill.

However, if none of them are present, then she will choose one of their skills to mimic at random. When she uses these skills, she gains shackle immunity for ten seconds, but decreased movement and attack speed.

In Cookie Run: Kingdom, which cookies are the best to use in your Kingdom Arena team in 2025?

The best toppings for Agar Agar Cookie are chocolates or raspberries—she can use resonant flaming toppings, but regular searing raspberries and swift chocolates will also improve her ability. She has a 15-second cooldown, which is a lot longer than Wind Archer Cookie‘s 6-second cooldown. Considering that her attack is already weaker than the cookies she mimics, she needs her cooldown and damage output improved in order to be useful. It’s preferable if you can get some damage resistance substats on her toppings as well, since I’ve found that Agar Agar Cookie tends to die very quickly in battle.

The most recent CRK update also included the addition of “topping tarts.” The topping you choose for the tart should correspond with the toppings you have the most of, since you get a slightly larger boost depending on the amount of relevant toppings you have. For example, if you gave Agar Agar chocolate toppings, you should also give her an epic-rarity chocolate topping tart.

A Regular Or Flaming Legendary Crispy Beascuit

Cookie Run Kingdom Legendary Crispy Beascuit

As an Ambush Cookie, Agar Agar Cookie will benefit from the use of a Legendary Crispy Beascuit. She is multi-element, which is a trait only shared by Frilled Jellyfish Cookie and Olive Cookie. This means she can also use a Burning or Thunderous Crispy beascuit, if you would like to give her a boost to fire or electric damage. If you do want to focus on one of these elements, I would recommend fire, since Fire Spirit’s ability is currently the best legendary skill.

Since Agar Agar Cookie is counted as a fire-type, having her on your team alongside Fire Spirit Cookie will make his abilities more powerful.

If you want to make use of all her skills, then you should build her attack stat on a non-elemental beascuit. You can also choose to build her cooldown stat if you used raspberry toppings or got particularly unlucky with your stats on chocolate toppings. Some other stats she will benefit from having on her beascuit are damage resistance or damage resistance bypass. Agar Agar Cookie is one of the most versatile characters in Cookie Run: Kingdom, and will definitely be useful in the epic-only arena or for adding an extra boost to your team’s damage output.
