Danny Denzongpa: “Not Said Yes To Sooraj Barjatya As Yet”

Reports of Danny Denzongpa  being a part  of Sooraj Barjatya’s  next directorial Oonchai  have been making the  rounds. Initial reports suggested that Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher  were to  star as lifelong  friends. This  proved to be true.  However  later reports  about Boman Irani being  part of the cast turned  out  erroneous

We  now have  reports everywhere that the  ultra-picky Danny Denzongpa, last seen  in  Manikarnika The  Queen Of Jhansi in 2019, has agreed to be part  of  the cast alongside Mr Bachchan  and Mr Kher.

However when I reached out to exceedingly reclusive actor asking if he is part of Barjatya’s project  he said,  “Not yet. I am reading  the script.”

A  source  close  to the actor adds, “Danny likes  the script. But with Bachchan Saab and Anupam Kher  helming the  project there is  little for him  to do in it. At this stage  of  his career he doesn’t want  to do  an inconsequential role for  the sake of being a  part of a big project.”
