New rumored plot details for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 have emerged online.
The first season of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again premiered on Disney+ this past March. A continuation of the Netflix series, the show sees Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, while Vincent D’Onofrio also returns as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is now in the works and expected to arrive in 2026. An untitled Punisher television special featuring Jon Bernthal’s MCU character also recently concluded filming, though that project does not have a release date as of yet.
What can we expect in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
Scooper Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus was asked if Marvel fans can expect a “gang/turf” war in New York City after Born Again Season 2 and the Punisher special.
Perez answered, “A lot of the people Kingpin has locked up are going to be very, very angry with him, so yeah. It’d be safe to say the war on Fisk is going to be waged.”
It is already known that Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, though there have been no details revealed about what she’s been up to since her Netflix series ended. Additionally, there have been rumors that Marvel Studios could reintroduce Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn Jones’ Iron Fist at some point, though nothing has been officially announced on this front as of yet.
When asked how Ritter’s character, and potentially Colter’s and Jones’, will be reintroduced into the MCU, Perez said that “they’ve gone into hiding” since we’ve seen them last.
These are just rumors for now, meaning they should be taken with a grain of salt, as Marvel has not released any official plot details for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 at this time.
