Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Cups at AMC Price & Release Date Explained

A set of four Demon Slayer Infinity Castle cups have been revealed for AMC, and they all look fantastic. A candid photo of the collectible drink cups, alongside the rectangular popcorn bucket that was shown earlier at MegaPlex, has been spotted. Each collectible comes with a matching lid that mimics a samurai sword handle, and they are all designed in line with one of four characters in the anime. Here’s what we know so far about the release date and price for these Demon Slayer AMC cups.

What is the price and release date for the Demon Slayer AMC cups?

The release date for the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle cups at AMC looks to be September 11 or 12, which is when the movie arrives in theaters, while the price for one for the cups is estimated to be around $20 to $40.

The release date has been given by a commentor named MechaFan42 on Reddit who shared the candid photo of the four cups in a display case at AMC. According to the user, while the cups are technically on display, the theater does not yet have a price for them in the system and that the cost and promo sheets probably won’t be available until September 5. The commentor shares that they wouldn’t be for sale until September 12 at AMC Bayou 15.

The drink cups are fashioned after the cloaks worn by specific characters in the popular battle shonen. The black and green checkerboard one is colored after Tanjiro, the yellow-orange one with white triangles is for Zenitsu, the solid plum cup is for Giyu, and the white and pink cup is for Shinobu. Better yet, the lids are shaped after the unique cross-guards and hilts of the characters’ swords.

The price range is fairly wide because the various tumblers in AMC’s shop range from $20 to $40. We’re leaning toward the lower price point because the popcorn bucket itself is $25 at Megaplex, and it would be surprising for the cups to be more expensive than that. On top of that, there are four cups in all, so we expect that fans will want to buy all of them in one go.

It’s unclear if these cups are exclusive to AMC or if they might show up for other theaters as well. The collectible trading cards for the movie are available at Regal and Cineplex.
