Back in 2013, former couple Emma Roberts and Evan Peters made headlines for a shocking reason: assault. The Wild Child actress was arrested in July at the Hotel Le St-James in Montreal, Quebec
For those who don’t know, Roberts and Peters sparked relationship rumors after shooting their 2013 film, Adult World. They began dating soon after. Coming back to the incident, the Montreal law enforcement sources revealed to TMZ that someone had called the police to report a fight in the couple’s hotel room.
Upon arrival, the police came across Peters with a bloody nose and reportedly a bite mark as well. Roberts was arrested and taken into custody. However, the young actress was released just a few hours later as Peters did not want to press charges against her.
Sources close to the actress told the outlet that they were hitting each other during the altercation, and Roberts was arrested after the police found physical injuries on Peters. However, contrary to what the law enforcement sources said, the insider claimed that Roberts did not bite her then-boyfriend.
In a statement to PEOPLE, reps for the two said, “It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it.“

Despite the incident, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters refused to let their relationship die. In fact, in January 2014, the actor got down on one knee over the holidays in New York City and proposed to Roberts with a pink gold and diamond ring (via PEOPLE).
Their love story faced an obstacle in June 2015 when they called off their engagement and broke up after three years of dating. As per a source, “They grew apart. They both had a lot of growing to do and it was better that they do it on their own.”
Believe it or not, that wasn’t the end of the Roberts-Peters romance. The couple was spotted out at dinner only two months after their split. They went on to date for a few months, only to separate again in May 2016. In November 2016, old flames are reportedly rekindled. Later in March 2019, Roberts and Peters went their separate ways for good after seven years of on-and-off dating.
After their breakup, an insider told US Weekly that “Evan was so in love with Emma and their relationship became very toxic. They had the highest highs and then would not speak for days.” The source added that after their breakup, Peters “took a long time of figuring himself out again before he was ready to date.” He went on to date singer Halsey.

Emma Roberts and Evan Peters were last seen in the same project in 2018 when they both starred in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Now, the former couple is all set to reunite on screen in the thirteenth season of the horror anthology series.
The cast of AHS 13 has been confirmed, and -along with Peters and Roberts – it includes Ariana Grande, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Jessica Lange.
A quote in the trailer read, “Surprise, b*tch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.” The quote was said by Roberts’ Masion Montgomery (American Horror Story: Coven).
Since both Roberts and Peters have played different characters over the show’s history, it would be interesting to see what they have to offer now, and if they will share the screen or not.
