After wowing fans with his beautiful performance as Eric Effiong in Sex Education, Ncuti Gatwa gained even wider acclaim as the Fifteenth Doctor in the British sci-fi hit, Doctor Who, debuting in 2023. However, his time on the show ended in May 2025 following his “bittersweet” decision to leave, with only two seasons under his belt. Now, a few months later, the actor has landed his first movie role since then, starring alongside Academy Award nominee Andrea Riseborough.
