Staffers at “The Jennifer Hudson Show” have gone viral too many times to count over their “Spirit Tunnel” songs, welcoming each guest to the show by lining up along a backstage hallway and singing a custom song as the celebrities dance or laugh their way past them. But for their appearance on April 15, 2025, HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott turned the tables.
In a video posted by the show on social media, the “Property Brothers” stunned the Spirit Tunnel staffers by bursting out of their dressing rooms, laughing and yelling “surprise” as they ran down the hall. They didn’t stop running and start dancing until halfway down the hallway, as many of the staff members screamed and looked shell-shocked.
The ‘Property Brothers’ Have Danced Their Way Through the Spirit Tunnel Before
Once the staff members gathered their composure, they quickly started singing and clapping, giving the Scott brothers a chance to show off a couple of dance moves. Jonathan turned around at the end and blew them kisses.
Producer Kiara Harris commented on the post, “We were shook clearly 😂”
This was not the twins’ first time through the Spirit Tunnel. They impressed fans in November with their dance moves as they made their way to the “Jennifer Hudson Show” stage, breaking into the Snake, as seen in a video posted to the show’s social media accounts.
Jonathan then briefly performed the Running Man, but Drew put in the most effort when he got down on the floor and did the Worm and then finished off his entrance with the Shimmy, prompting one viewer to write, “This last move was hilarious ?????”
Drew Scott Admitted to Being a ‘Recovered Thirst Trapper’ Once Jennifer Hudson Explained It
The Scott brothers’ surprise entrance wasn’t the only thing that stunned staff and fans at “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” During a Q&A game with Hudson, they shared some very revealing info and pics — especially of Drew, who admitted he’s been known to post “thirst trap” photos.
When Hudson asked which one of them was a “recovered thirst trapper,” Drew needed an explanation before admitting it was him.
Jonathan quipped, “Also known as…desperate!” and then urged producers to show an example. When they put up an image of Drew dressed only in his underwear, Drew hilariously acknowledged, “Ohhh. Yeah. That’s me.”
They also shared a photo of him leaning in to kiss his wife Linda, with his shirt fully open, but he said, “Oh, Linda’s the thirst trap on that one!”
Drew tried to explain that those photos were posted during his stint on “Dancing With the Stars” when he was rehearsing day in and day out to appear on the show. But Jonathan insisted, “He’s been doing that his whole life! He would just slip in — ‘Oh, shirt fell off? Oh! Let’s take a picture!”
Laughing, Hudson said, “But I love that you didn’t know what it meant. But you’re serving all of this, so now you know what a thirst trap is!”
Hudson is featuring HGTV stars on her show all week, with new “Love It or List It” star Page Turner due to appear on the April 16 episode.
