The October 28 episode of Dancing with the Stars Season 34 saw an unexpected elimination, with fans bidding adieu to yet another popular contestant. The Halloween Night episode ended with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck going home, along with her pro partner Jan Ravnik.
Affleck and Ravnik delivered a contemporary dance routine to Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” on the Halloween Night episode. Before joining the cast of DWTS, Ravnik had worked with Swift as a dancer for the pop icon’s record-breaking Eras Tour.
The elimination came as a surprise to the fans, as Affleck and Ravnik had earned a score of 34, which is more than what comedian Andy Richter received from the judges.
Following the surprise elimination, Affleck bade farewell to the show, saying, “This experience has meant everything to me. I did this for my kids, and I’m so grateful for this experience.” Her pro partner, Ravnik, had nothing but admiration for the reality TV star, calling her a “rock star.”
There have been a total of six eliminations in DWTS Season 34 so far. Stars who are no longer competing are Baron Davis, Corey Feldman, Lauren Jauregui, Hilaria Baldwin, Scott Hoying, and Jen Affleck. Meanwhile, eight couples are still in the line for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
