Elizabeth Hurley & Billy Ray Cyrus' CMAs Red Carpet Cameo Shows Why They Make 'Perfect Sense'

For anyone who didn’t think Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus were going to last… well, they are here to prove you wrong.

The couple made a sizzling appearance together at the 2025 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on Nov. 19, tightly holding hands as the photographers snapped their picture. The 60-year-old actress shined in a form-fitting red gown with a plunging neckline and a strategically placed cutout on her toned abs. The thigh-high slit showed off her gorgeous legs and revealed her silver platform heels. Cyrus kept to his usual all-black ensemble with a black cowboy hat.

They might be one of Hollywood’s most surprising couples since they made their Instagram official debut on Easter Sunday, but their relationship appears to be rock solid.

“They’ve been together for more than six months now,” Hurley’s pal told People in October. “Despite the skepticism, it was always real from the beginning. And they’re going strong.”

“They’re very different, but it works. They’re so cute together,” the insider continued. “It’s the kind of connection that surprises people but makes perfect sense when you spend time with them. Liz’s very happy.”

Cyrus and Hurley have both raved about each other in the press, noting that their relationship feels significant to them.

“We did very few scenes together, but the couple of times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry there,” he recalled on The Ty Bentli Show in April about filming Christmas in Paradise together in 2022, where they first met. “We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot.”

“The oddest part was, first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different, but in some very strange way, we had way more in common than we had different,” he added. “If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman.”

Hurly knew that her romance with Cyrus looked a “little surprising” to outsiders, but she explained why the relationship worked. “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well,” she told Page Six in May. “We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love country music, both love movies. We’ve got a lot in common — and cowboy boots, definitely.”

Even if the dynamic duo wasn’t on anyone’s 2025 Bingo card, Hurley and Cyrus seem to be ready to go the distance.
