According to fans on social media, Dybbuk – The Curse is Real is not the run-of-the-mill supernatural horror but it is one of its kind horror film shot on the parameters of International aesthetics. Highlighting the Jewish mythology for the first time in a Hindi film, Dybbuk – The Curse is Real surely stands out.

Emraan Hashmi shares, “I am thrilled to see the audience reactions on the film. Shooting for Dybbuk has been a different and adventurous experience for me since I get to know about the Jewish mythology in details. I had never done a horror film like this and reading comparisons around it with popular Hollywood horror flicks make my heart smile. I am truly overwhelmed with the audiences, who accepted the different storytelling like Dybbuk, which is first of its kind in my career. However, I am known to do horror films but Dybbuk is an exceptional supernatural horror story.”

Dybbuk – The Curse is Real is a Hindi remake of 2017 Malayalam movie Era which is about a newly married woman, who when brings an antique Jewish box into her home, she and her husband start experiencing paranormal events. Directed by Jay K, the film also stars Nikita Dutta, Manav Kaul, Denzil Smith and Imaad Shah in the important roles.
