Every Member of the Worst Generation, Ranked Weakest to Strongest 

In One Piece, the Worst Generation refers to the 12 pirates who emerged as superpowers before the Summit War of Marineford. This group consists of Blackbeard and 11 super rookies. The Worst Generation became infamous because of their actions during the Marineford War, and their crimes led to all of them having bounties upwards of 100,000,000 bellies.

These 12 are regarded as ‘problem children’ of the pirate world who popped up between the end of the Great Pirate Era and the beginning of the New Age. So here is a list of all the members of the Worst Generation, and they have been ranked from weakest to strongest.

12 Scratchman Apoo

Probably one of the most hated pirates by fans of One Piece, Apoo is still a member of the Worst Generation. His devil fruit, Oto Oto no Mi, turns his body into musical instruments, which he can use to produce sound waves. He can also create explosions with his sound attacks and favors long-range attacks. However, he often relies on others for protection.

11 Capone ‘Gang’ Bege

Cpone has a Paramecia-style Shiro Shiro no Mi Devil Fruit, which can turn him into a human fortress where he can store his crew members, their weapons, vehicles, and more. He can also use his mode for defense and create massive firepower. He is a tactical beast with a huge bounty atop his head.

He has led the Fire Tank Pirates and infiltrated Big Mom’s territory and even orchestrated an assassination attempt on her.

10 Basil Hawkins

Hawkins uses the Wara Wara no Mi and is a Worst Generation member who can manipulate straws. He can create voodoo dolls that store lives, which redirects fatal damage to enemies. He can also transform into a scarecrow with immense powers. He has used Haki at basic levels and depends on tarot divination for strategies.

He is a rather analytical guy, and his achievements include surviving Kizaru’s attacks and holding off Killer despite having a handicap.

9 X Drake

Drake has the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Allosaurus, which is an Ancient Zoan type devil fruit that grants him dinosaur transformation. It boosts his strength, durability and gives him immense biting force. He is proficient at Haki and can combine his powers with sword and axe-wielding, and uses his Marine-trained skills.

He has played an integral role in One Piece and defeated an ancient giant, held off the CP0 agents, and clashed with Apoo and Queen. However, he will lose to elites like Zoro, Law, Luffy, etc.

8 Killer

Killer might not have any Devil Fruit, but excels at pure combat, which is enough to place him amongst the Worst Generation pirates. He can use his Punishers for sonic attacks. He has Armament and Observation Hakki and is extremely agile. With a bounty of 2 million bellies, he is a master at assassination. He uses a dual scythe combat style.

He is also the vice captain of the Kid Pirates, making the crew extremely powerful. He defeated Hawkins despite having a forced Smile Fruit’s effects as a handicap.

7 Jewelry Bonney

Bonney is the daughter of Kuma, and One Piece has aired her tragic backstory. She is currently trying her best to get her father back. Her Toshi Toshi no Mi devil fruit allows her to manipulate age, and she can weaken her targets by making them too old or too young. She also has Armament Haki and authority over the Pacifistas.

She not only escaped Blackbeard but also infiltrated Mary Geois during Reverie and played a key role during the Egghead Island arc. She has allied with Luffy, and her feats have elevated her ranking.

6 Urouge

Urouge‘s Devil Fruit converts received damage into pure muscle mass and strength. This allows him to grow and counter attacks with multiplied powers. He absorbs hits in order to overpower his foes. He also has immense durability, but so far, he has received less screentime in One Piece.

He is a member of the Worst Generation, and his Giant Pillar Weapon is deadly to say the least. He is also the captain of the Fallen Monk Pirates.

5 Eustass Kid

Kid is the captain of the Kid Pirates and has a bounty of 3 million bellies. He faced Big Mom along with Law, and his Devil Fruit is the Jiki Jiki no Mi, which he has already awakened. He has already mastered all three forms of Haki as well.

With his devil fruit, he can control magnetism and assemble metals into giant weapons or anything of his choice. He has challenged Shanks multiple times, and despite being defeated, he came out alive, which is a huge achievement and a testament to his raw power and utter recklessness.

4 Roronoa Zoro

Zoro is the only other member of the Straw Hat Pirates who is also a Worst Generation member. He is often called the right-hand man of Luffy, and his swordsmanship skills, like the Three Sword Style, are legendary. He has all three types of Haki and can cut not only entire buildings and trains but also the essence of things with his swords.

He scarred Kaido permanently and even defeated King in Wano. He has clashed with admirals like Kizaru and Nusjuro. His growth is second to none and has the potential to improve more.

3 Trafalgar D. Law

Law is another extremely powerful Worst Generation member who is also one of the Seven Warlords. His bounty has reached 3 million bellies after his role in defeating Big Mom along with Eustass Kid. He is the user of the Ope Ope no Mi. He can use Amament Haki and has expert swordsmanship and medical skills.

He has led to the downfall of Doflamingo in Dressrosa and survived the ambush by Blackbeard after Wano. His Devil Fruit powers plus swordsmanship put him just a bit above Zoro.

2 Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy possesses the Nika Devil Fruit that allows his body to have the properties of a rubber man and can even transform his surroundings into rubber with Gear 5. He might be the most powerful rookie amongst the Worst Generation members. He has mastered all three types of Haki and has a bounty of 3 billion bellies.

His list of achievements includes defeating villains like Crocodile, Kaido, Enel, Doflamingo, and more. He has boundless potential and might even defeat Blackbeard at some point, though he needs to grow more before that happens.

1 Blackbeard / Marshall D. Teach

Teach is one of the four most powerful pirates in the world with a bounty of 3.9 billion bellies. After taking over Whitebeard’s Devil Fruit power, he has become a force to be reckoned with. He is a master at manipulative schemes and loves curating powerful Devil Fruit powers for himself.

His Yami Yami no Mi allows him to create, control, and transform his body into darkness, and it can even absorb or nullify Devil Fruit powers. With the addition of the Gura Gura no Mi, he can cause earthquakes and generate powerful shockwaves, which can even destroy the world if he wishes. He also possesses Armament Haki.
