My Favourite Patriotic Song & Film: Bollywood Gets Sentimental On Independence Day

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan:  “Lataji’s Ae mere watan ke logon is my favourite patriotic song.”

Shabana Azmi: “Kar chale him fida jaan-o-tan saathiyon is the most definitive of all the patriotic songs. It gives me gooseflesh every time I hear it. It’s written by my father Kaifi Azmi. My favourite patriotic film is Haqeeqat.”
