Emma catches Joss and Vaughn kissing in Dalton’s office and demands favors for her silence. After forcing Joss out, she snoops through Dalton’s files but plays innocent when caught. Meanwhile, Joss and Vaughn worry Emma’s interest in Dalton could draw Anna’s attention. Joss urges Vaughn to join Emma’s activist group to distract her.

Lulu tells Gio the truth about Brook Lynn

Lulu apologizes to Gio at the Metro Court pool for how he found out about his birth parents. She admits she was looking into Brook Lynn’s past while searching for her own daughter. Gio is rocked to learn his actual birthday and furious that Brook Lynn never tried to find him. Lulu defends Brook Lynn’s actions, saying some birth mothers leave to lessen the pain. Gio, however, doesn’t buy it.
