Genshin Impact 6.1 Leak: Nefer's Catalyst May Be The Best Weapon Yet

The best weapon in Genshin Impact may have just leaked, thanks to the new Version 6.1 beta tests, and I’m sure it will be one of the most sought-after weapons in the entire game. The action RPG by HoYoverse has just entered Version 6.0, a huge patch that brought forth a series of innovations, including the region of Nod-Krai. There, you will also meet several Nod-Krai characters in Genshin Impact.

There is still a lot to uncover in the ongoing patch, but the Version 6.1 beta tests have started, and with them, several leaks about the next patch are emerging. This includes the gameplay details about Nefer, for example, who is said to be a 5-star Dendro DPS focused on Lunar-Bloom reactions. There have also been leaks about the potential Genshin Impact 6.1 character banners, which may feature anticipated reruns.

Genshin Impact 6.1’s New Weapon Has Leaked

Reliquary Of Truth Is Nefer’s Signature Catalyst

In addition to the characters, a set of new weapons for Version 6.1 has been leaked, but one of them stands out. The alleged signature catalyst for Nefer in Genshin Impact 6.1, shared by user SpindleFlames on Reddit, is called Reliquary of Truth. The 5-star is said to have 542 base ATK (at level 90). Additionally, it grants the user an 88.2% CRIT DMG boost via its sub-stat.

Via its leaked Skill, the catalyst grants an 8% CRIT Rate bonus. Additionally, when the character unleashes an Elemental Skill, they gain the Secret of Lies effect, which increases their Elemental Mastery by 80 for 12 seconds. Furthermore, when they deal Lunar-Bloom DMG to enemies, they gain the Moon of Truth effect, which boosts CRIT DMG by 24% for four seconds.

When both effects are active at the same time, the results of both effects are increased by 50%. These stats refer to the leaked weapon at R1 (Refinement level 1). At R5, all the base stat boosts are doubled, meaning you get 16% CRIT Rate, plus the possibility of activating 160 Elemental Mastery and 48% CRIT DMG.

Nefer’s Weapon In Genshin Impact 6.1 May Be The Strongest Catalyst Ever

Reliquary Of Truth Has An Incredible CRIT Value

If the weapon’s leaked description doesn’t make it clear enough, this is a very strong catalyst – arguably the strongest that the game has ever seen. While the base ATK stat isn’t remarkable, the CRIT DMG sub-stat is outstanding on its own and is enough to justify its usage by any catalyst DPS who uses CRIT stats. However, its Skill makes it even more powerful.

If the equipping character can use their Elemental Skill to trigger Lunar-Bloom DMG on enemies, they will simultaneously activate both of its effects. This means that the 80 Elemental Mastery boost will be raised to 120, while the CRIT DMG boost will increase to 36%. If you combine the weapon’s entire values, you’ll get 124.2% CRIT DMG from the leaked Genshin Impact weapon.

Overall, the 5-star Reliquary of Truth catalyst offers players a massive 120 Elemental Mastery boost, plus 140.2 CRIT Value; CV is the sum of CRIT DMG and (CRIT Rate x 2). This is an unprecedented weapon in the game in terms of the damage value it can bring to EM-scalers who focus on DPS roles, especially now that Lunar-Bloom can land CRIT Hits on enemies.

There are some fantastic catalysts like the 5-star Vivid Notions and the 4-star The Widsith, but they don’t come near to matching the leaked weapon’s potential. The absolute strength of the Reliquary of Truth is highly reminiscent of Mavuika’s signature weapon in Genshin Impact, the 5-star claymore A Thousand Blazing Suns, which is arguably the strongest weapon in that category.

New Genshin Impact 6.1 Weapon May Work With Several Characters

Nahida & Kokomi Could Use The Leaked Catalyst

The total stat values that have been reported will only work if Lunar-Bloom is triggered via the character’s Elemental Skill, because the Moon of Truth’s duration is so low, but it doesn’t limit the catalyst’s usage to Nefer and Lauma, who are Lunar-Bloom enablers. With them in the team, Hydro and Dendro characters can trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions, which makes catalyst users from those elements compatible.

Nahida’s build in Genshin Impact, which requires a lot of Elemental Mastery, could benefit from the leaked Version 6.1 weapon. While her EM count would still need a lot of investment via Artifacts, Nahida could deal even more damage to enemies as a CRIT-focused DPS. The same can be said for Kokomi’s DPS build, especially if Lunar-Bloom is at the forefront of the team comp.

Even outside of Lunar-Bloom and the extra CRIT DMG bonuses you get from triggering it, the leaked Version 6.1 weapon is great for catalyst DPS characters. The extra Elemental Mastery points could increase the power of Elemental Reactions altogether, while the CRIT DMG sub-stat is a force to be reckoned with.

As such, you could run the Reliquary of Truth with characters like Varesa, Mizuki, and even Ifa. This leaked weapon is surprisingly strong, and even if its Skill can only be exploited with Lunar-Bloom, it is certainly not limited to Lunar-Bloom characters. I suspect this catalyst in Genshin Impact 6.1 may gain the title of the strongest weapon in the game if it isn’t nerfed before launch.
