Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and 2PM’s Taecyeon’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke” has shared its first sneak preview!
KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The First Night With the Duke” is a romance fantasy that tells the story of an ordinary college student whose soul becomes transferred into a minor character of a romance novel and spends the night with the obsessive male lead.
Seohyun will be playing the role of Cha Sun Chaek, a minor character in a novel who becomes possessed by college student “K.” Taecyeon will take on the role of Yi Beon, the male lead of the novel and a royal family member. After college student “K” possesses Cha Sun Chaek, she coincidentally spends the night with Yi Beon, causing the story to flow in an unexpected direction.
The newly released poster captures a romantic hug between Cha Sun Chaek and Yi Beon who lock eyes amidst the breathtaking twilight sky. The heart-fluttering scene raises anticipation for a romance story that defies their predestined ending.
The production team shared, “Through the romance of Cha Sun Chaek and Yi Beon—who fall for each other while transcending not just time and space but also dimension and destiny—we hope to bring to life the modern viewers’ fantasy of escaping the the real world. Please enjoy the grand butterfly effect that unfolds from a supporting character’s unexpected rebellion.”
