Could she be joining the company?

Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny has joined forces with her uncle, Lee Soo Man. Eagle-eyed netizens spotted her in a video uploaded by A2O Entertainment, a new agency founded by Lee Soo Man. She was spotted helping to produce and train trainees during their 2024 Trainee Summer Training Camp.

In a video titled “A2O Trainee Summer Training Camp 2024 Highlights,” Sunny made a surprise appearance. She was seen sitting at the recording studio’s console, personally directing the trainees. Dressed casually and wearing a warm smile, she generously offered advice and guidance to the aspiring artists.

After departing from SM Entertainment in 2023 following the SM 3.0 restructuring, Lee Soo Man established A2O Entertainment. As part of a non-compete agreement made when he sold his SM shares to HYBE, Lee agreed to refrain from producing music domestically for three years, and has since been preparing new projects focused primarily on China.

Sunny also concluded her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in August 2023, and has kept a low profile since. Her recent appearance mentoring A2O trainees has sparked speculation that she may have joined Lee Soo Man’s new company. Notably, Sunny is the youngest daughter of Lee Soo Young, the former head of Starworld Entertainment, producer of S.E.S, and the older brother of Lee Soo Man.
