On June 10, actress Goo Hye-sun took to social media with the single word “startup,” accompanied by a series of photos that showcased her official Preliminary Startup Company Confirmation, issued by the Korea Venture Business Association. The certificate affirms her company’s startup status, valid from May 28, 2025, to May 27, 2028, marking her formal debut in the business world.

This exciting venture is not without precedent. In 2020, Goo Hye-sun applied for a patent for a self-developed hair roller, which was officially registered in December 2021. She had previously teased this innovation during a variety show appearance, and her persistence has now culminated in a full-fledged business.
