You would be just as mad as Cardi B if your child did the unthinkable to your purse.
The rapper – born Belcalis Marlenis Cephus (née Almánzar) – took to Instagram on March 23 with her frustration when she found a special surprise on her purse. Six-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus decided to take a pen and draw on Cardi’s purse.
Worse yet, the purse is not any purse; it is a $60,000 mustard yellow Birkin.
Frustrations Come in Many Forms
The since-expired Instagram Story begins in portrait mode with the middle of the bag taking up the majority of the frame. A black ink heart can be seen on one of the scales dead center. The clip is only 14 seconds yet speaks volumes.
“We literally spent $60,000 on this purse,” Cardi states.
What follows is the truest reaction any miffed parent can understand. Cardi simply repeated the same sentence multiple times.
The camera zooms into the ink heart.
“Look what my daughter did to my purse.”
“Look what my daughter did to my purse.”
“Look what my daughter did to [expletive] my purse.”
The camera steadily shakes with each delivery of the statement.
Suddenly, a considerably heavy sigh is delivered alongside a definitive zoom out.

Cephus is the first born child of Cardi and rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus also known as Offset. She was born on July 10, 2018. The couple also has two other children. A son, Wave Set Cephus, was born in 2021. And an unnamed baby girl was born on September 7, 2024.
Cardi and Offset have been separated since 2023 when the former announced via Instagram that December that she had been “single for a minute.”
Although, she was planning her wedding for some time before their son was born. The wedding was delayed for work reasons. However, a secret wedding was held between the two rappers who celebrated one year of marriage in 2018.
Cardi would file for divorce from Offset in 2024 while pregnant with their third child and working together.
Cardi can probably afford another one. As she once rapped in the song “Bodak Yellow:” “Hit the store, I can get ’em both, I don’t wanna choose.”
