Rihanna Releases Brand New Birth Photos of Babies RZA & Riot Rose! (PICS)

On the evening of March 8, 2025, Rihanna dropped new, never-before-seen pictures from the births of her two sons with A$AP Rocky, RZA and Riot Rose, to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The “Umbrella” singer captioned the carousel of sweet snaps, “By far the most powerful thing I’ve ever done as a woman…my little miracles!” She finished her post with the hashtag #InternationalWomensDay.

Teen Vogue reported in 2023 that Rihanna “secretly” welcomed her second son, Riot Rose, on August 3 of that year.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s first son, RZA, was born on May 13, 2022, according to Billboard.

The Barbadian beauty went on to explain her unconventional choice of hospital attire. “And yes I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses. Don’t ask, a lot was happening,” she wrote.

Rihanna’s choice to debut the pictures on the social media site is a sign of her continued good relationship with the brand she famously boycotted for 6 months back in 2014.

Why Did Rihanna Quit Instagram?

Every long-time Rihanna fan remembers when she vanished from the gram for a months-long stretch after her sultry Lui photos caused a stir.

The gorgeous editorial shots, one which featured a topless view of the superstar, were deemed too steamy for Instagram and caused her account to be briefly suspended.

After the suspension, which Billboard said Instagram claimed was a mistake, the “Man Down” singer chose not to come back for a while.

Judging by the speed with which her newly unveiled baby photos racked up over 4 million likes just a few hours after being posted, Rihanna’s fans are thrilled that she is still on Instagram so they can continue seeing snaps of Rihanna with her cute family, including A$AP Rocky who scored a huge court victory just days before Rihanna’s 37th birthday on February 20, 2025.

Why Was A$AP Rocky In Court?

Fans waited breathlessly on February 18, 2025, to hear the verdict in A$AP Rocky’s assault trial. A guilty verdict could have sent the rapper to prison for decades. Upon hearing the not guilty verdict, Rocky unforgettably dove into Rihanna’s arms as the courtroom erupted in cheers.

So why was the “Problems” rapper on trial? CNN explained that the star was facing two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The accusations arose from a 2021 conflict in which Rocky’s former friend and A$AP Mob member, A$AP Relli, claims Rocky fired shots at him.

Rocky maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal, stating the weapon was a prop gun, and no genuine weapon was fired.

The media descended on the trial to create a pop culture firestorm with many memorable moments, such as when Rihanna brought her two sons into the courtroom, and when the pair was papped in the Chick-Fil-A drive through after a long day of watching the testimony.
