Hailey Bieber has denied rumors that she unfollowed her husband Justin Bieber on Instagram following his unusual online activity.
“Didn’t unfollow him. Hope this helps!” Hailey wrote in response to a TikTok video discussing the speculation. The Rhode founder attributed the apparent unfollow to a “glitch” caused by Justin briefly deactivating his account the day before.
As of Monday morning, Justin was not appearing under several users’ following lists, suggesting a broader issue. A source told Page Six that a “Meta glitch” occurred after Justin deactivated and then reactivated his Instagram account. Meta, which owns Instagram, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Justin’s social media behavior has drawn attention, especially after a shirtless livestream where he rapped lyrics like “You just a little bitty bitch, for sure.” In the video, he appeared to sway with droopy eyes before deactivating his account. He returned shortly after, posting a series of mirror selfies to which Hailey responded with a heart-eye emoji.
Back in January, Justin reportedly unfollowed Hailey, but later claimed on his Instagram Story that “someone went on [his] account and unfollowed [his] wife,” adding, “S–t is getting suss out here.” Around that time, the couple was seen out together on Valentine’s Day and again at a Rhode skincare pop-up in Los Angeles, where Justin’s behavior raised concerns.
In February, a source told Page Six that Hailey was “really concerned” about Justin’s mental state and wasn’t “sure how to manage things.”
