Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity doesn't just help you craft, it's essential to one's survival! Four misfits--Garrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison (Jason Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks)--find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master this world (and protect it from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, too) while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve (Jack Black). As a parent who knows nothing about Minecraft, this movie made it easy for me to follow and understand some of the things my 6 year old talks about. He enjoyed it and was very excited. That made it worth it for me.

My 13 year old son thought it was the best movie ever. He plays Minecraft and could not wait to watch the movie. I thought it was good. I like how they mixed real life with Minecraft. I will watch it again when it is released on a streaming service. Jack Black is playing his usual same character like in every film. Jason Momoa did great as a guy stuck in his best years (the 80s). I liked the kid and sister new to town trying to start over and the kid meets Jason Momoa. All it all it had a good storyline and overall good acting.
