Singer Neeti Mohan spills beans about her love story, talks about her first meeting with Nihar Pandya
After Nihar Pandya, Neeti Mohan opens about their fairytale love story. The singer spoke in length about how the two of them met and their love story started brewing up.
Popular singer Neeti Mohan is all set to tie a knot with the love of her life Nihar Pandya, who also happens to be Deepika Padukone's former beau. Nihar rose to the limelight and became a household name soon after his alleged relationship with Deepika Padukone was brought to the limelight. The model also made his Bollywood debut recently as he starred in Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika.
The model turned actor will soon be gracing The Kapil Sharma Show, along with his to-be wife Neeti Mohan. The couple confirmed that they are scheduled to tie a knot on Valentine's Day, February 14. While Nihar spilled the beans about his love story and was quoted as saying "A friend of mine was a member of Aasma, the band that Neeti was a part of at the beginning of her career. I asked him several times to introduce us but that never happened. Coincidentally, I met her in Goa at the same friend’s wedding almost a year ago, and that’s when our love story started".
Now Neeti too has opened about their love story and has put forward her side of it. "We both have strong values and quite similar ones. I think Jimmy [former member of Aasma band] knew that, and trust me, he was very sure that we would click. He introduced us to a wedding, where Nihar was accompanied by his parents. They met me very warmly and there was an instant connection with not just Nihar but also his family members," said Neeti, as per the reports in India Today.
Neeti even added that after some time, Nihar met her parents who instantly approved of him. And since then, there has been no looking back. When the lovebirds were asked if they are engaged, Neeti said, "Nope. All functions on February 14 and 15. Engagement nahin hui hai, but dono ki families have given a word to each other and blessed us."
Neeti is currently busy with her work commitments and said that honeymoon will have to wait as after their marriage they will immediately return to work.
For the uninitiated, Neeti is an established Bollywood singer who has sung songs like – Jiya Re from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Kaun Nachdi from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and others.
