Actor Gulshan Devaiah, last seen Kokona Sen Sharma’s directorial debut A Death In Gunj, has been to hell and back.
An accident earlier this year put him on the immobile mode.
Says Gulshan, “I had a skiing accident in February earlier this year while on my winter holidays. I fell on the slopes of Gulmarg—a beautiful place even to get hurt!.And I shattered my knee ligaments in multiple places and needed surgery to fix it.”
The healing was slow and painful. “I am still only 90% there , will need two more months to be able to run fast , jump or play active sport normally. It’s been painful process of healing and realization for me. ”
The accident has put Gulshan’s career back by many steps. Rather than cry over spilt milk the young actor is immersed in the process of making renewed headway.
Says Gulshan, “I am back in the studios. I am doing a new film produced by RonnieScrewvala. It’s going to be an action-comedy directed by Vasan Bala. How do I look at the accident? As a warning from God that nothing in life must be taken for granted. Now I’m determined to work harder than ever to regain lost ground.”
