Guneet says she feels  blessed. “I am truly humbled and grateful to be recognised amongst other such accomplished women. It’s inspiring to know that voices from around  world can make a difference. It’s been a long journey trying to put INDIAN cinema on the global stage but at times like these we truly feels we are making an impact.”

Guneet feels her success, as with the  success of any individual, cannot be seen in isolation. “There have been some amazing men and women across the world  who have mentored me, who have shown me there is a path forward. It would have been incredibly difficult To find my own way without their guidance. Some of  these mentors are Anurag Kashyap, Stacey Sher the producer of ErinBrocovich, Django Unchained and Kill Bill, Melita Toscan , my French co-producer on Masaan.”
