Television’s erstwhile Rama is now a soldier fighting for our country in J P Dutta’s Paltan. Gurmeet Chowdhary couldn’t have hoped for a better career.

He wonders where the rumours of his being a part of Bigg Boss are coming from. “Why would I want to be on Bigg Boss at this stage of my career? My career is going great guns. I am in Dubai for the promotion of Paltan, a film that I’m really excited about. Why would I want to be locked up inside the Bigg Boss house when I’ve to promote the biggest film of my career all over the country?”

Being from a family of army-men, Gurmeet is proud to be a part of Paltan. “When J P Dutta saab offered me the opportunity to be part of one of his war epics I couldn’t believe my luck. It has been my dream to play an army man. My father was in the army and he wanted me to join the army. But that was not to be. I hoped one day he’d see me as an army jawaan. Now here I am. I can’t wait to show Paltan to my parents.”
