Hallmark Announces Big ‘Hannah Swensen Mysteries’ News

Hallmark has revealed big news about the next movie in the “Hannah Swensen Mystery” series, and fans are thrilled. The next film is titled “Pie to Die For,” and a premiere date for the upcoming installment of the series is now available.
‘Pie to Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery’ Premieres in June
The Hallmark website recently added a teaser for “Pie to Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery,” which indicates that it will premiere on June 22. The movie will air at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.
The synopsis of the movie reveals, “When Hannah’s customer and Delores’ theater rival is murdered, Hannah must find her killer in order to save her mother’s reputation.”
In addition, the site’s description of the movie notes, “Chad and Hannah’s romance blossoms.”
Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster, and Barbara Niven return to their roles. It is notable that the June 22 premiere of “Pie to Die For” takes place on the Hallmark Channel itself, rather than Hallmark Mystery where it usually debuts.
Fans Can’t Wait for the New ‘Hannah Swensen Mystery’ Movie
When Hallmark initially released its slate of May and June movie premieres, “Pie to Die For” wasn’t included. In addition to the revelation that it will initially air in June, Hallmark has revealed that Sweeney will pop up in two additional June premieres.
“To Barcelona, With Love,” co-starring Ashley Williams, premieres on June 7. The follow-up, “To Barcelona, Forever,” hits the Hallmark Channel a week later, on June 14.
The news on the “Pie to Die For” premiere date prompted excited reactions from fans.
On the social media site X, formerly Twitter, one fan gushed, “So excited!!! Always up for pie and mystery!”
“Very exciting. I think @iamvictorwebster has been a great addition to the series,” a fan noted on Instagram.
Crystal Lowe, who has starred in Hallmark projects such as “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” quipped, “Yassss!!!!! You guys are gonna love it! I’m biased but the director on this is fantastic. 😂”
In an Instagram Story on her page, Lowe shared the premiere date news and wrote, “Woooooo hooooo!!!! This one is mine. Check it out!”
Lowe has taken on some director roles with recent projects, and it seems she had a behind-the-camera role on the upcoming “Hannah Swensen Mysteries” movie.
In October 2024, Lowe shared a teaser for Sweeney’s “This Time Each Year” movie, which she directed, and noted she was “so proud of this film.”
She added that she was “unbelievably grateful to @alisweeney for bringing me on. She is literally the best boss.”
