Harshvardhan Kapoor is just one film old and already a method actor. His father the redoubtable Anil Kapoor never really went as far into his character as his son.
For his first film Mirzya Harshvardhan studied the behaviour mannerisms clothes and speech of the classical love stories , as he had to play out a legendary lovelorn character’s junoon on his own .
Now for his second film Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi Harshvardhan goes even further…right out of his family home.
Since he plays a loner in the film Harshavardhan has opted to move out of the family residence where he has lived with his parents Anil and Sunita Kapoor and two sisters Sonam and Rhea and into a rented apartment.
Says Harshvardhan, “Yes I’ve moved out of my home since the last one month to isolate myself for BhaveshJoshi.”
Harshvardhan says playing the loner is a challenge even though the young actor is a bit of a loner himself.
The role had first been offered to Harshvardhan. “But at that time I felt I was too inexperienced to play the part.So it went to Imran Khan. Now it has come back to me.And I feel blessed.”
