But he has apparently given his Christopher Columbus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali a substantial discount.

It’s all about perception. However the market reality is that Ranbir has outpriced Ranveer. Yes, Ranbir is most likely to have hiked his price drastically. Animal has taken his stardom to from Level 2 to Level 5. Whether the hike is what it is being made out to be, we wouldn’t really know.
The only star-actor who refuses to hike his fee is Kartik Aryan. His logic is simple.If he is not lowering his price after a failure why would he hike his remuneration after a success?
