Says an informed source, “It was a very informal engagement ceremony that took place on Ranbir’s birthday on Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor’s insistence. Nothing official about it. But we hear mom Neetu Singh has never been more sure of any of Ranbir ‘s girlfriends. So on Ranbir’s birthday, they did an impromptu ceremony.”

We hear Ranbir too is pretty sure Alia is the girl he wants to marry.
