HGTV star Heather Rae El Moussa is full of surprises! “The Flip Off” star shared a few things fans probably don’t know about her. She also revealed everything she hopes to accomplish in the next five years (hint: she has a lot of goals!).

In an interview with P.O.W.E.R. magazine for their Summer 2025 issue, El Moussa was asked what people might be surprised to know about her. She had a few unknown facts to share.
First, the HGTV star said she’d rather stay at home than go out and paint the town. “Most people see the glamour and assume that’s all there is — but the truth is, I’m actually such a homebody,” she explained.
El Moussa added, “I love myself a cozy night in with my family and pajamas and no makeup … that’s my happy place.”
She also shared that she’s been a licensed aesthetician since she was 20 and has a motorcycle license, noting she “used to ride a Harley Davidson.”
El Moussa Shares Where She Sees Herself in the Near Future
The HGTV star was also asked where she sees herself, both personally and professionally, in the next five years.
El Moussa has some big plans, including growing her family.
“Personally, I hope to have another baby and keep building a strong, blended family full of love and support,” she explained.
On the professional side, she plans “to expand Heather Rae Essentials into a full lifestyle brand — covering beauty, wellness, and home — and continue inspiring women to embrace every role they have with confidence and grace.”
Her TV career is still very much in the mix, with a “plan to further” it and “focus on our production company,” as well as continuing to co-produce their shows and others.
She added, “I’m excited to continue flipping houses, learning, and honing my design skills.”
El Moussa hasn’t ruled out hosting another TV show and mentioned her desire to “write a book and keep working on becoming the best version of myself every day.”
She added, “Ultimately, I want to help, guide, and inspire others based on the life lessons I’ve learned so far.”
When asked about her dream home, she noted it’s “modern with a warm, inviting feel.” That includes neutral colors, “wood elements, organic textures,” and soft lighting. El Moussa added that natural light from “huge windows” is a bonus, as well as “an indoor-outdoor flow” that allows kids and dogs to “roam freely.”
Other dream home elements include a media room, large kitchen, “spa-like” bathroom, and a beautiful closet.
El Moussa and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, just moved into a new home, so let’s see how many of her dream elements she checks off!
