The fakenews industry continues to thrive in the entertainment world. The latest “sensational story” to be doing the rounds is that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has signed Kartik Aryan for his webseries Heera Mandi.
Dismissing the reports as mere conjecture, a source close to the project informs me, “No male actor has been cast in Heera Mandi as yet. The plot of Heera Mandi revolves around a gallery of interesting women from different generations in a brothel. It is important for Sanjay Bhansali to find the right faces for every female protagonist in Heera Mandi.”
Names like Rekha, Shabana Azmi, Tabu,Tanve Azmi and Huma Qureshi are being considered for Heera Mandi.
As for the men, they will just have to wait.
