‘Holy Night: Demon Hunters’ officially invited to 27th Shanghai International Film Festival

The K-movie Holy Night: Demon Hunters has been officially invited to the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival’s “Midnight Fantasy” section.

Holy Night: Demon Hunters follows the Holy Night team — Ba Woo (Ma Dong Seok, aka Don Lee), Sharon (Seo Hyun), and Kim Gun (David Lee) — equipped with special abilities, coming to eliminate the evil forces in a city thrown into chaos by a cult that worships evil.

The 27th Shanghai International Film Festival will take place from June 13 (Friday) to June 22 (Sunday). The festival, alongside the Beijing International Film Festival, is one of China’s major film festivals.

The Midnight Fantasy section is dedicated to showcasing genre films from around the world and is one of the most popular programs at the Shanghai International Film Festival. K-movies previously officially invited and screened in this section include Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018), The Roundup: Punishment (2024), and Exhuma (2024).
