With the start of the beta tests, the Honkai: Star Rail 3.6 character banners have been leaked, revealing all the new units and reruns that will be featured during Phase 1 and Phase 2. Currently, the popular turn-based RPG by HoYoverse is in Version 3.5. The update is still focused on expanding Amphoreus’ story. Hysilens and Cerydra have also been introduced as new characters in Honkai: Star Rail 3.5.
Even with the large amount of content to play through in Version 3.5, attention is already shifting toward the next patch, as the beta tests have been the source of leaked information. There have been rumors of a free 5-star character in Honkai: Star Rail 3.6, for example, who is expected to make their debut during that same patch. The leaks have also detailed the new characters.
Two New Characters Arrive In Honkai: Star Rail 3.6
Evernight & Permansor Terrae Are 5-Star Characters
According to an official reveal by HoYoverse, two new characters are being released in Version 3.6. Evernight and Permansor Terrae are March 7th’s and Dan Heng’s alternative forms, respectively. Both characters, who have appeared as NPCs during the Trailblaze Missions introduced with Version 3.5, will become playable characters in Honkai: Star Rail 3.6.
The confirmation came through drip marketing posts made by the developer on the official Honkai: Star Rail account on X, for example. Their reveals had been delayed until after the Version 3.5 livestream, in which they first appeared as new NPCs. This was made to avoid spoiling the surprise. Now, you can look forward to adding the units to their teams starting in Version 3.6.

Evernight Is A Support For Remembrance Teams
While HoYoverse hasn’t detailed how they will debut in the next patch, new information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, who has a positive reputation, reveals the character banners for Version 3.6. The leak was shared by a user in a Reddit post. Because she was the first to be revealed by the drip marketing posts, it’s likely Evernight will debut in Phase 1.
Details about Evernight in Honkai: Star Rail 3.6 have already been revealed and leaked. According to HoYoverse, she is a 5-star Ice character following the Path of the Remembrance. As seen in her leaked gameplay kit, as seen on Honey Hunter World, Evernight specializes in buffing her allies’ memosprites by granting them CRIT DMG buffs.
As seen in her leaked Skill, Evernight can increase the CRIT DMG of all ally memosprites by 40% for two turns. Additionally, one of her Passive Traces increases memosprites’ CRIT DMG based on the number of Remembrance characters in the team, up to 50%. As such, she can grant a 90% CRIT DMG boost to allies’ memosprites.
Furthermore, Evernight’s Ultimate increases the DMG taken by all enemies by 20%. This could make Evernight a powercreep for Tribbie, especially in Castorice teams. Aside from buffing Remembrance allies, Evernight is also expected to operate as a reliable sub-DPS who deals HP-scaling Ice DMG.
With her source of damage and an innate 53.7% CRIT Rate, she could further powercreep Tribbie in Castorice teams, as Tribbie is used as a support and sub-DPS – though her bonuses are far inferior to the ones seen in Evernight’s leaked kit.
Because of her Evernight’s synergy with Castorice, it’s very likely that Castorice will rerun in Honkai: Star Rail 3.6’s Phase 1 banners. She is featured in HomDGCat’s leak, and it makes perfect sense for this Remembrance DPS to run alongside Evernight, who may become her best support unit so far.
If the leak is true, this will be Castorice’s first rerun banner ever. Castorice has become one of the best DPS characters in the game and is, arguably, the best release of 2025 so far. As a Castorice main myself, I highly recommend pulling for her, even if you don’t pull for Evernight, as Castorice is F2P-friendly.

Permansor Terrae Is A New Sustain Unit With Follow-Up Attacks
On the other hand, it’s very likely that Dan Heng: Permansor Terrae will debut in Phase 2 banners. HoYoverse has confirmed that he is a 5-star Physical character on the Path of the Preservation. Leaks about Permansor Terrae’s kit on Honey Hunter World show that Dan Heng’s new form will specialize in providing shields and dealing damage.
Permansor Terrae can allegedly grant all allies a stackable shield effect based on his ATK stat with both his Skill and Ultimate. Furthermore, Dan Heng’s new form in Honkai: Star Rail reportedly has a summon called Souldragon, who can dispel debuffs from all allies and provide more shields. Furthermore, it deals damage through follow-up attacks.
There are reports of a free Permansor Terrae giveaway in Version 3.6, though he will still have a dedicated banner in the patch. The other reported rerun character in Version 3.6 is Anaxa. While Anaxa doesn’t have as much synergy with Permansor Terrae as Evernight has with Castorice, I believe Anaxa in Honkai: Star Rail will rerun in Phase 2 banners.
Like Castorice, if the leak is correct, this will be Anaxa’s first rerun ever. Anaxa is a powerful DPS character who can implant new Weaknesses on enemies. Overall, Permansor Terrae could be a great sustain for Anaxa teams, not only providing protection, but also helping deplete enemies’ Toughness bars thanks to Anaxa’s Physical DMG Weakness implants in Honkai: Star Rail.
