The upcoming Hotel Transylvania TV show has been given a release date window.
Created by Todd Durham, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Hotel Transylvania franchise began in 2012. That animated movie was directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and was followed by three feature-length sequels: 2015’s Hotel Transylvania 2, 2018’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, and 2022’s Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.
Additionally, there have also been a handful of Hotel Transylvania short films and a TV show, Hotel Transylvania: The Series, that ran for two seasons from 2017 to 2020.
Last year, it was announced that another Hotel Transylvania TV show is in the works at Netflix. Produced by Sony Pictures Animation, it will be titled Motel Transylvania and will see, per Deadline, “Drac & Mavis take a break from their Transylvanian haunts to set up a brand new resort for humans and monsters in the California desert. Vampires and sunshine… what can go wrong!?”
