House Full 4 Goes Into The Past

Hard decisions have been taken on the sets of Sajid Nadiadwala’s lavish production House Full 4. And the shooting has resumed with a new director.

Sajid Khan, accused of multiple sexual harassment ,directed nearly 60 percent of the film before he was sacked.

“The portions that remain are set in the medieval era. It’s a Baahubali kind of location which requires huge sets, massive special-effects . The whole cast will be wearing heavy costumes.Akshay’s costume alone is worth nearly 5 crore rupees. Nadiadwala wants to make House Full 4 a more lavish costume drama than any in this country. But the allegations of sexual harassment against (director) Sajid Khan and (actor) Nana Patekar have a damaged the film’s spirit and credibility,” says source from the film’s team.

Apparently, Nadiadwala who is a very close friend of Akshay Kumar has agreed to do whatever Kumar tells him.

“It was Akshay’s idea to immediately sack Sajid and employ Farhad Samji. Farhad and his brother Sajid Samji had earlier directed House Full 3 for Nadiadwala. So Akshay felt Farhad would fit in fabulously. The shooting has been renewed with Farhad handling the scenes with the costumes, chariots and elephants,” says the source.

House Full 4 is plotted in two lives with all the characters sporting two different ‘then-and-now’ looks. Akshay’s bald look is for the medieval portion of the film.
