Hrithik Sir is and always be the greatest superhero: Tiger Shroff

Tiger Shroff  Speaks To Subhash K Jha About The Perils & Highs Of Playing A Super-Hero

You’ve been signed to play the lead in  the sequel to  The Student Of The Year. How does it feel to be a part of Karan Johar’s posh plans?

Posh? Oh Gosh! Blessed to be a part of Karan Sir’s team. Hope I help the director Punit take Karan Sir’s franchise to a level that  the audiences will never forget.

The original film made Varun Dharan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt into overnight stars. What would the sequel do for you?

There’a so much scope and potential in that franchise. And for me to  follow the original students ….Man , they all are tough acts to follow up!

Tiger, are you nervous about playing a super-hero in The Flying Jatt  so early in your career?

It’s a blessing and a responsibility, so yes I am and I am not nervous.

What do you mean?

Yes, I am  nervous  because it’s those typical near release jitters. And no because out of the three  films I have done I feel most secure about this one

Why would you feel so secure about playing a  super-hero so early in your career when you will be compared with  Captain America and Krissh?

I’m confident because when people see the film they will realise it was pointless comparing my super-hero to the others, as the characters are poles apart. And besides, Flying Jatt is a huge fan of both Krrish and Captain America.

Your’re getting a  lot of support for The Flying Jatt from within the film industry. Is that a good feeling?

Overwhelming and grateful that so many people have appreciated the promos. It is the best feeling when our hard work is appreciated especially from those you look up to. Hrithik Sir has been specially supportive.

How does it feel when Krissh supports The Flying Jatt?

Hrithik Sir  is and always be the greatest superhero. I’m a fan of him and his alter ego Krissh. I’ve watched his film a million times to study his body language and the costumes.
