In a recent episode of her YouTube show Hyell’s Club, Hyeri shared an unexpected and hilarious story involving none other than top actress Suzy. The tale has since gone viral for its humor and for revealing the pair’s surprisingly close friendship.
The story begins with Hyeri and Suzy reconnecting over drinks. As Hyeri recalled, “It was my first time drinking whiskey. Suzy actually taught me.” The night quickly escalated, and after a few drinks, the two ended up at Suzy’s home — where they both eventually passed out in the same bed.
“We passed out… in the same bed,” Hyeri said with a laugh, much to the amusement of viewers and their mutual friend Lee Joo Young, who also appeared on the show.
The chaos began the next morning. Hyeri, needing to leave early for a schedule, tried to quietly exit Suzy’s home. But as soon as she opened the door, alarms blared. “Suzy didn’t seem like she would wake up,” Hyeri said. But Suzy’s mother did — and mistook Hyeri for a burglar.
“Her mother said, ‘Why are you leaving so soon?’ in a very elegant way,” Hyeri recounted. Flustered, she stumbled through her words, nervously asking, “How do I open the door?”
Suzy, watching the clip, couldn’t contain her laughter and admitted she had no memory of the incident. “So that’s why my mom came out?” she asked in disbelief.
