I Bet You Forgot Taylor Swift Was On This Classic Disney Channel Show With 100% On RT

Who would have thought Taylor Swift would be involved with a show like Phineas and Ferb? Today, very few people. However, back when her career was starting, Swift’s ties to Disney Channel were evident, if a passing phase. Although it may not be the best Taylor Swift album, her debut record was warmly welcomed when it was released in 2006 and is still a beloved staple of her discography. “Our Song,” her OG hit single, is actually one of the best songs in the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie, simply due to the sheer nostalgia.

However, Swift really broke through with her 2008 album Fearless, also her first Best Album of the Year win at the Grammys. By this time, there was certainly a huge overlap between the Swifties and Disney Channel’s viewership, her music and the network both offering family-friendly but heartfelt coming-of-age narratives that appealed to young children as well as high schoolers. Taylor Swift was never one of the stars who got their start with Disney Channel, whom the studio could claim as “theirs,” but it was clear that they wanted to work with her, so they offered her some cameos.
