Actress Shama Sikander, who is mostly known for her role in the famous TV series ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’, launched her own productions, *’Shama Sikander Films’* . The pretty actress also launched the trailer of her upcoming short film series , *’Ab Dil Ki Sunn’* that throws light on the struggles of depression, a mental illness that sure needs more awareness in a society that doesn’t consider depression as a real issue. The actress herself has gone through the entire phase of depression and this short film series will show her own real life story as well.
Shama also says, ” Ab Dil Ki Sunn, is not a project but its something very close to my heart and the need of the hour . This film series will help break the stigma on depression and create awareness amongst people, it’s a movement “.
It was a grand evening with several celebrities from the B-town including the director of the short film series, Sam Khan, Gaurav Chopra, Aahana Kumra, Sana khan, Sahil khan, Iqbal khan, Gautam rode, Meet bros, Mika singh, Jaswinder Narula , Rai Laxmi, Sonali Sehgal, Hanif Hilal, Poppy Jabbal, Aarya Babbar, Karan vir Grover, Simran Kaur Mundi, Karan Bawa, Kiran Bawa and of course, Shama Sikander. The party was a huge success with the crowd demanding for an encore on the trailer. Sikander received a lot of appreciation for her work and looked absolutely gorgeous in her elegant and classy attire for the evening.
Shama was last seen in Vikram Bhatt’s web-series, ‘Maaya’ in which she played the role of Sonia/Maaya. The actress currently has her plate full with several other projects and high-end fashion photoshoots in tow. We wish her all the very best and can’t wait to see her upcoming short film series which will soon be hitting the internet. Each film will be released on YouTube only at ‘Shama Sikander Films’ somewhere next month.
