The incensed filmmaker is upset about reports that the star has walked out of his film Stories have suddenly started circulating about Ajay Devgn walking out of Indra Kumar’s next directorial Total Dhamaal and it has the filmmaker upset. Ajay is very much a part of the film still.

Indra Kumar says, “I woke up to reports yesterday saying Ajay is not doing my film and I was shocked. We spoke about it and decided to find out who is spreading such lies! Let me clarify that Ajay Devgn is very much part of my film and is doing it 1000 per cent! He has signed on the dotted line and given us his dates. We begin shooting from September or October this year in Mumbai. Ajay loved the role and signed the film because of that. No actor would sign a film unless he was satisfied with the way his role has shaped out. It’s something very quirky and exciting! I don’t know where these articles originated from? It’s inhuman and in very bad taste as it doesn’t do good to anybody but damages too many people and their work. It’s quite unnecessary!”

Anil Kapoor is also said to be doing Total Dhamaal. While he has loved the story and his role, and on board 99 per cent, he is yet to sign on the dotted line. Arshad Warsi and Riteish Deshmukh have also been confirmed for Total Dhamaal.

Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria, Total Dhamaal is the third installment of the Dhamaal franchise. Dhamaal released in 2007 with Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Ashish Chowdhry and then came Double Dhamaal, starring Sanjay Dot along with the same cast.
