Is Baabul Supriyo Going To Be The New I & B Minister?

“Moon Moon Sen Was A Joke”

The buzz in the corridors of power(a.k.a. BJP headquarters) is that singer-actor Baabul Supriyo who was minister for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises for the Modi government during the last regime, is now expected to take over as Minister for Information & Broadcasting.

Or, so it is being whispered.

Baabul is neither confirming nor denying the rumours. “I will do whatever Modiji asks me to. I am his loyal soldier. So if he asks me to take charge of I &B I’d happily do so.”

In the Asansol constituency Baabul defeated the Trinamool Congress candidate Moon Moon Sen by more than 2 lakh votes.

Says Baabul, “It is actually a far bigger margin than my victory during the last Lok Sabha elections. It was only expected. Moon Moon Sen was a bit of a joke. She made some awful statements that exposed her ignorance. My track record spoke for itself. I remained steadfast in my determination to achieve a clean victory. When my car was attacked in Asansol I could have lost my life. But I never allowed the game to get dirty. The maximum I did was to compose a satirical song on Mamta Didi’s party.Even that angered her. I’d say her arrogance did her in.”
