Jackie  Shroff  A Part Of Bhansali’s Heeramandi? Here’s The Real Story

Ever since  Sanjay Leela Bhansali  and Jackie Shroff hit it off in Devdas, they have been  meaning  to work together again.The opportunity  only arose in Bhansali’s posh webseries Heeramandi  for Netflix.

Bhansali had a role for Jackie in Heeramandi when  it  was  being scripted. Bhansali’s team happily approached Jackie  and he was  more than happy  to be part  of  Heeramandi. After all, Jackie’s Chunnilal in  Devdas remains one of  his  best roles to date. However when the  series went on the  floors, the  role meant  for Jackie had been considerably reduced.

SLB personally rang up Jackie and told him that the  character  he was  supposed to play is  no longer  worthy of him. They agreed to work together  another time.
