After Two Failed  Attempts Janhvi Kapoor back with Karan’s Dharma Production? Not Quite

Janhvi Kapoor has so far not had much luck with her mentor Karan Johar who says he  loves  Sridevi’s daughter to death.  However their only collaboration so far Dhadak , a remake  of the Marathi neo-classic  Sairat  was  a damp squip.

Two of her other films with Karan Johar—Dostana 2 and Mr Lele—never  took off .leaving Karan and Janhvi  wondering if there  was  a  jinx  on  their partnership.

Wonder no more!  Janhvi  is finally doing another film  with Karan Johar. This  one, a rom-com with a serious subtext, is to be  directed  by Kayoze  Irani  who happens to be actor Boman Irani’s  son.

Sources  say  Kayoze’s film is  romance with a strong dramatic undercurrent. Janhvi will go into it  right after completing Helen, the Hindi  remake  of   the Malayalam  film  of  the same name.
