Jason Kelce, the former Philadelphia Eagles center and co-owner of Garage Beer, is back in the spotlight. This time, he is teaming up with Predator: Badlands for an action-packed short film titled Thermal Buzz. Produced in collaboration with 20th Century Studios, the project celebrates both Kelce’s personality and the iconic Predator franchise in a hilarious Halloween-themed crossover.

In the short film Thermal Buzz, Jason Kelce stars alongside pro wrestler Matt Cardona and former Eagles lineman Beau Allen. The 11-minute film blends the gritty atmosphere of Predator: Badlands with Kelce’s trademark humor and Garage Beer branding.
The trailer opens with Kelce sprinting through dense woods, being hunted by the menacing Predator. Just when it seems like the alien has cornered him, Kelce deflects an attack with a can of Garage Beer.
The moment quickly turns comedic — instead of fighting, the two crack open beers together. Kelce finishes the trailer with a laugh-worthy tagline: “Garage Beer — beer-flavored beer. It can save your life.”
Thermal Buzz is a nod to the original 1987 Predator classic. The short was shot near Orlando and directed by Jordan Phoenix. The 30-second spot is set to air during select NFL games in the weeks before the movie drops and will also hit Garage Beer’s social channels on Halloween.
In the official PR Newswire release, Kelce couldn’t hide his excitement about the project. He talked about his love for old-school ’90s action films, with Predator sitting at the top of the list. Kelce called it one of the most “iconic” movies ever made, saying nothing else nails that mix of epic action, killer one-liners, and meme-worthy moments.
Thermal Buzz marks Kelce and Garage Beer’s third short film together. It follows Brewmite II, where Jason and his brother, Travis Kelce, faced off against MMA legend Chuck Liddell and the original Brewmite, which started it all.
For those who want to watch, Thermal Buzz releases on Garage Beer’s social media pages on Oct. 31. The 30-second spot will also air during select NFL games, with more promo coming out in the weeks leading up to Predator: Badlands hitting theaters on Nov. 7.
