The Disney+ original series The Manipulated has confirmed its release for November 5.
The Manipulated is an action drama that follows Tae Jung (Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man who gets wrongfully imprisoned for a heinous crime, only to discover that everything was orchestrated by Yo Han (Doh Kyung Soo). He then sets out to take revenge on him.
The teaser poster features Tae Jung and Yo Han locked in a fierce confrontation.
Ji Chang Wook plays Tae Jung, a man who, after being wrongfully framed and sent to prison, gradually undergoes a transformation as he sets out on a path of revenge. Do Kyung Soo, taking on his first-ever villain role, plays Yo Han, who manipulates the lives of others at will. Joining them are Kim Jong Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, and Lee Kwang Soo.
Ji Chang Wook commented, “The Manipulated is a revenge drama with lively and diverse spectacles we haven’t seen in a while. With plenty of unique action sequences to watch, it’s a feast for the eyes.”
Do Kyung Soo added, “The script was so much fun. The pacing is fast, and I’m excited to see how the action and racing scenes will be brought to life.”
The Manipulated will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on November 5 with four episodes, followed by two episodes each week, for a total of 12 episodes.
