The supposedly controversial references to the legal system have been advised to be retained in Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 2.
The film has been passed with a ‘UA’ certificate with no cuts, drawing curious queries on how and why the supposedly controversial portions in the film were being tossed around in the press.
Says a source close to the development, “The film that was shown to censor board had no controversial statements on the legal system. Even the reference to the show company Batawas removed before the film was brought to the censor board. The version of film shown to the censor board had nothing even remotely controversial about it.”
